Passman & Jones relocated to Adolphus Tower, which at the time was touted as “the most modern office building in the Southwest.”  Sam Passman wanted to move the firm to Adolphus Tower to be closer to one of the firm’s biggest clients, Southwest Motor Club, the predecessor to The American Automobile Association (AAA). Adolphus Tower was also where the Dallas Bar Association (DBA) had its offices at the time, kickstarting the firm’s close connection to the DBA. While at Adolphus Tower, Sam and Shannon began growing the firm by hiring new lawyers.
