- In 1976, our firm actively assisted the formation of the Father of the Year Awards Luncheon, its establishment as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and its fund-raising efforts that have raised more than $3.5 million for local children's charities. Greg Sampson has provided legal and other support to the Luncheon since 1992, and for the last four years, Greg has been chairman of the committee that organizes and presents the Luncheon, now in its 32nd year.
- K.D. Shull is devoted to helping students at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and for several years has acted as a coach of SMU moot court teams. Last year the moot court teams coached by K.D. won a number of national awards. K.D. will once again be coaching the SMU team at the National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition as they defend their National Title at the Ninth Annual National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition October 20-22, 2006 in Malibu, California.
- Jim Adams has combined his love for the outdoors and his involvement in the Boy Scouts of America to lead the orienteering and mapping program for his son's troop. Jim has proven to be a valuable resource for the Boy Scouts, and he spends many evenings and weekends preparing maps and courses and directing the outdoor activities of the Scouts.
- In October 2006, Raul H. Gonzalez, our Office Administrator, was voted "Optimist of the Year" by the Optimist Club of Arlington. He was selected from over 500 members and was honored for the donation of his time and efforts in raising funds for the many programs supported by the Optimist Club of Arlington.
